So I see several spammers around here ? no posts by them but they are lurking about....
Click click goes the Kat mans shotgun... here here nice spammers I have some tasty morsels for ya ... don't be shy ....

This new forum is cool. First, there's the capcha, then if someone registers too quickly for human input the assumption is made that it's a robotic registry and it doesn't go through, registrants are also checked against the spammer database (which would have been a huge task to include in the previous version of the forum) and if they're from one of the listed IP's they're out. There are more anti-spam functions out there, but so far these are the ones D has gone over and decided to include.

You are a bit of a cheater MrsMo. We all can't upload avatars bigger than 80x80, and your avatar is WAY larger than that :P. Ahh, well...

I just changed the rules for mods - you can now upload an avatar of 200X200 -- Good enough?

Is my display picture good enough so small though? Can you even see what it is? If not, I'll have to find something better...

Yeah, it's a pic I took at the grand canyon... I'm quite proud of the picture, but I'm not sure if it's big enough for here... Ahhh, I'll leave it until I find a better picture to use.

That's just insane! The lengths they go to are unreal. Anyway it's great loggin in here and not having to delete a pile of spam.

It's kind of impressing that they manage to get through the registration, unless of course they are human registrations.

We have had 9 that are now 'Visitors' that have used human, or human-speed registration passing the Captcha test. None have posted in a forum yet. I'm going to delete their accounts later for inactivity.

Gotta love this new software. Now we just need some new members to create more activity -- Where's -=BB=- or Radical Ed when ya need 'em?

Bah, finally saw a spam post this morning, but it's been destroyed now. I have to say, that anti-spam tool is pretty neat.
