View Full Version : No cake for little Hitler

A New Jersey supermarket refused to put a 3-year-old's name on his birthday cake - Adolf Hitler Campbell.

According to the child's father, he didn't mean anything by the name, he just liked it. The father didn't mention that the same store refused to put a swastika on a cake for him a few years back. Maybe he just likes the architecture and decor of the third Reich? What kind of idiot names their child after arguably one of the most hated figures in recent history? Just naming the child Adolph would have gotten the point across to friends and neighbors who you were lionizing without saddling the child with a name that will get him ostracized for the rest of his life.

There are lots of white supremacists in this country, and they worry me. Any fanatic worries me because reality has nothing to do with what is going on in their little pea brains. Here is a parent willing to create an environment that will give his child nothing but grief to make some kind of political statement.

Damnit! Where did I put my pitchfork!

I'm going to keep looking for it. Meanwhile; here's the link to the whole story: http://www.wsbtv.com/nationalnews/18296646/detail.html#-

Damnit! Where did I put my pitchfork!

I hid it, you shall get it back when and only when you calm down :-)

Ok, I'm calmer now - now may I please have my pitchfork back? I promise not to do anything my dear Grandmother would disapprove of... (this might be the same woman who chased the people from welfare off her farm with a shotgun when they showed up to give her children some shoes).

So the update to this story is that not only have the parents named their son Adolf Hitler, but they have also named their daughter Aryan Nation for her middle name.

Now the issue at hand is Child Protective Agency has stepped in and removed the children from their home because CPS has accused them of child abuse. The problem I have is that government has stepped in and removed the children with no evidence of abuse.

I hate the fact that the parents are teaching their children to hate, however, they have not harmed anyone physically, however, government has decided to step in and step all over these people's "Freedom of speech"!

What are your thoughts?

The parents need a good smacking about the heads with a large log, but that's it! Taking the kids away is mental, what's that gonna achieve ? Just backs up the theory that the parents no doubt held that the "government are out to get us" type thing, and proves the same point to their buddies.
It gives these nutters more fuel for their fire!!

You let them call their kids what they like, you provide a strong and just society for all, and who cares what your kids are called !

Wow, what sort of person allows their hate to spill over into their children's lives? Well... on second thought, I guess that's where hate comes from. :( Kids don't discover hate on their own it must be taught.

I suspect that kid will change his name at some point or be doomed to become like his ol' man.

As always, I'm not fan of government interference but, the very act of naming someone after a maniac tyrant is bordering on abuse and in my opinion is "probable cause" for an investigation.

Good luck kiddo. May the Force be with you.

Naming your child Adolph Hitler or Aryan Nation could possibly be considered mental abuse by some people, but is it? What about Dweezel Zappa or Soli Moon Fry - those are some VERY odd names but no one stepped in and 'rescued' them from their parents. At what point does a parent's weirdness stop being just weird and become abuse? I don't think a name should be the cut off point.
