Police find man crucified - don't know if it's homicide...

That's right folks, the cops are undecided if this was a suicide or homicide...

A man's body was found in a South Korean quarry, nailed to a cross, wearing a loincloth, wearing a thorn crown and with stab marks in his side. There were two smaller crosses beside him and a mirror placed so he could watch his own suffering. The man's SUV was nearby, along with instructions on how to build a crucifix, wood and nails.

I want to know how one goes about crucifying oneself. Getting the nail in the feet and the first hand might be just barely do-able, but that last hand must have been a bitch to get done. Maybe if you leaned real hard and swung a mallet with your teeth? Of course all this would have to be done while you were already upright on the cross because I don't care who you are, you're not going to be able to get that thing upright and hop it to the hole you prepared ahead of time.

Well I remember once when I fell back off a ladder, landed on a plank and somehow a spade came up and hit me in the head. Whatever way I twisted I landed on a huge nail which went through my foot! I squealed, and jolted backwards arms raised and somehow my hands became impaled in two large pins the shock of which sent me forward at speed towards a half completed fence to which I became stuck.
My weight was too much for the semi-finished fence to bear and soon toppled over onto a rotating cement mixer which threw me, the fence and some sundry tools flying across the yard onto the back wall of the house where I became well and truly stuck, with a hammer sticking out of my mouth.
So to be honest I can see how this could happen, I'm not saying that's how it went down, just that it could have gone down something like that.
You need to be careful out there!

If he pre-made the holes through his hands, nailed his feet on then he could just impale his hands. It would be tricky though. Not something for the faint-hearted.

Earlier in the week police responded to reports of a dead person. They found the nude body of Nalepa, a pharmaceutical company executive's girlfriend, hanging from the balcony of his home in San Diego, CA. Her hands were tied behind her back and her feet were bound.
Investigators have not determined if Nalepa was a crime victim and have not ruled out suicide.

"The circumstances are bizarre, you could tell this was unusual, but (suicide) is a possibility," San Diego County Sheriff's Capt. Tim Curran said Thursday.Suicide is a possibility? Really? This girl must have been REALLY flexible. Tied her hands and feet, then crawled like an inch-worm till she cleared the balcony railing.

Dunno MrsMo, I'd not discount the possibility. I remember one dark morning while still half asleep: I was tying my shoe laces, but inadvertently tied them to each other! Then stood up while putting my watch on and proceeded to walk forward. I stumbled, onto a skateboard - odd thing about that was I don't own a skateboard, anyway - my hands got caught up in the watch strap as I tried to avoid hitting the fish tank head on, which I failed to do. A wet goldfish stuck in my mouth, I slid backward towards the french doors and out onto the balcony. One back flip later, my hands stuck behind my back tied together by the watch strap , goldfish in mouth I hung over the balcony. I would have called for help where it not for the goldfish stuck in my mouth, what a day.

I hate dark mornings!
