So, was looking around and found this website: FF4_Calc (http://glow.mozilla.org/)

Wanted to see if anyone has downloaded the new FF and if so, what are your thoughts?

Downloading it now, thanks for the heads-up. How do you like it?
I've not tried Chrome as this old Mac ain't up to it, have you tried it?
What's it like compared to Firefox ?

I haven't tried ff4 yet, however, I have used chrome. I like it, very clean and simple... But I am a minimalist at heart.

Alright, so dl'd FF4 and am now browsing D.org with it. It seems to be faster and is much cleaner as well. They have now incorporated many of the tools into a drop down that sits in the upper left hand corner of the browser. I'm liking it so far... Will have to see if my add-ons get updated as well.

I'm a chrome user mostly! Like Firefox for the add ons though, generally if I'm doing webdev stuff or testing pages I'll use FF, but day to day I like chrome.

Just updated from version 3.6 to 4.0 Firefox last night so really haven't had the the chance to give her good run yet. It did update all my add-ons, the only thing I noticed that got left behind was my Norton tool bar I'll have to fix that. I haven't used Chrome yet I'll have to download it and give it a test.

The fcuking fcukers, I hope a fly lands in their soup and their beer goes warm. Bastards. May they be hit by bird shit. Lots of nice stinky bird shit.
Firefox 4 will not work on my version of the Mac OS. I will have to upgrade, but this old Mac Mini ain't really worth the effort... bastards... hope they get caught in the rain without an umbrella . Stupid bloody developers! ....

Kitz, do you have the PPC version of the Mac Mini? I been thinking about picking up a Mac Mini Server and load up Pixie's websites via vhosts. It would definitely cut down on equipment costs and electricity. As far as FF4 goes, sorry to hear your woes...

1.5 Gig Intel Core Solo, running 10.4.11, I could fork out for the upgrade ( or whatever!) but it's getting old and the new MacMini is just way too expensive for my pocket at the mo!
It's not the first app to refuse to load up, calibre ( for the Kindle) can't update anymore and a few others. Gonna have to sort something at some stage !!
Lazy and cheapskate :-)

Nah, the term is "frugal" with your time and money!
