Yes old D is sticking his neck out here, I put up a 'Download' area and Members and above can upload files.

Right now I only allow the extensions for ZIP, RAR, EPUB and MOBI. I'll add other extensions as required and requested but that should handle quite a bit. Also I've moded PHP to allow large files. I set an arbitrary limit at 25MB.

I created a 'Main' category and an 'EBook' category. Since I have a kindle I'll be dumping a bunch of my public domain ebooks over time. I'll create more categories as required and move files around. Let me know if you want a particular category, OK?

The SuperMods can perform many tasks such as deleting bad or suspect files which will help keep my ass out of copyright violation hell.

This will need to be refined over time to suit our needs so suggestions and requests are quite welcome.

How about adding PDF's to the list ? I was about to upload some stuff and realized that it was all PDF's !
All freely available on the net but handy to have in the one spot.

Oh and don't worry about the new title, Kitz. It wears off in a week and you'll be your lovable, old self again. But as Coffee said -- "..and so it begins"
