I guess you get the idea. If you see someone with 'Daremo <something>' as a name, it's probably me.
If you're not yet a member of the guild, give me shout on line and we'll hook you up. The guild hall is fully stocked and the active guild memberrs are getting ready for a little GvG or PvP play for fun and profit.

It's great to hear from you Rikku - glad to hear things are going well and you are happy with army life. I know your time isn't your own yet, but maybe when you're out of boot you'll have the opportunity to come and play with us.

Thread jacking is in the EULA of this forum, it's a must :-)
Nice to see that your getting along well in the army Rikku, hopefully you get where you want to. Keep us posted, always good to hear from you :-)
Meanwhile! I deffo have computer games ADD, no matter how great it is after 20 mins or so, my mind wanders and that's me done!
I have not touched my xbox360 in ages, I have great games on it, but just get bored in no time.
But since I built my arcade game thingy, I do play a bit on that, they are all pretty short games to play and suit me perfect.
Then I got a Wii !
Anyone else get one yet ???
Awesome :-)
Only got it on Friday last, playing Wii Sports and lasted a whole hour playing Zelda the prince of something or other!
It's great fun, the Wii Sports is great, the bowling major fun and the boxing will leave you well tired !
Zelda is pretty good too, the controls are easy to pick up, so you ain't spending hours ( as I do) trying to figure out how to play the darn thing.
It's a PnP game for idiots, like me :-)
My problem is I spend so little time playing games I never get to figure out how to play them properly and then get frustrated, they are too complicated for a casual player, the arcade games and the Wii are ideal for someone who just want's to play and be done.

A quick google will get you a lot of reviews and picks.
The cool thing about it is the control, the "wiimote" as it's called.
You swing it about in the air to control the onscreen movement, it's totally mad !!!
So for baseball, you swing the remote as you would swing a baseball bat, or for boxing you have two controls so you can use both hands to fight. And you gotta punch hard or you get beat up! It's bloody hard work, likewise you gotta swing pretty hard to get a good shot with the "baseball bat".
For Zelda, you move the Wiimote about like you would a sword when fighting.
The graphics are lo-fi compared to the Xbox360 or PS3, it's more like a PS2 in that regard. It's got WiFi builtin, which is cool. Some other fun stuff you can do on it.
It's pretty cheap, small ( about the size of a CD drive ) and really quiet.
It was slated when it was first announced, it's silly name and lo-fo graphics were the main points of attack. But it's selling really well, it's never in stock over here, I had to wait near six weeks to get one. Nowhere has them for more than a few seconds!
It's attraction is that it so much fun, your granny could play it easy, she may not go the pace with the boxing though!
I would say that a next gen console ( the xbox360 or PS3 ) and a Wii and your well sorted. It would not satisfy hard core gamers on it's own, they would want the high end graphics that a Wii cant deliver.
You can get an Xbox360 and a Wii for the same price as a PS3!

I'd like to join the guild if poss. My account's on the euro servers, but that shouldn't be a problem - I'm awake at some point around the clock, usually logged in during peak US times. I can usually be found hanging around Heroes' Ascent international districts. IGN is Echomending Spike.
