Olympics committees considering a "skirts only" rule.

In an attempt to promote interest in badminton, committee members have proposed a "skirts only" rule for women players. Unsurprisingly, some countries, as well as some women players, are protesting the move.

I have to admit, it does sound awfully sexist to me. I'm all for rules that say players have to cover all the naughty bits, be clean (at least at the beginning of the competition) but to demand that women wear little skirts so men can ogle their panties while they are playing seems wrong. If the woman wants to wear a skirt, fine; but it should be up to the individual player.

What do you guys think?

That's the problem right there! It's clearly a boring sport if they have to go to those lengths to "promote" it.
And if ya want to see panties then the internet is awash with em, no need to enjure the badminton!

I noticed deeper in the article a mention that the boxing commission is considering the same rule for women boxers. Of all the nonsense; I would love to have some of the female boxers "explain" to the commission why that is a bad idea.

One problem: The only people who would compete in anything would be very flat chested woman and meekly endowed men. Everyone else would have too much getting the way. At least that what I think. The Greeks did do their sports naked its true. The body is a temple and all that. I'm not sure nudeness would make me watch sports more though. I watch 0 sport at the moment.
